About the Space
Located in the historic Byrnes Block, Six Acres carries the legacy of one of Vancouver’s oldest buildings while delivering modern hospitality at its finest. Once home to the Alhambra Hotel, today it’s a cozy, versatile venue where guests come together over great food and drinks — whether for everyday dining, special celebrations, or private functions. We specialize in private events such as birthdays, work functions, Christmas parties, weddings, anniversary dinners, and many kinds of celebrations. Our focus is on creating a warm, memorable experience tailored to each occasion. - Full PA system with microphones, stands, and monitors (in-house sound technician available) - Projector and screen available upon request - Licensed restaurant and bar with full kitchen service (custom menus available) - Capacity: up to 85 guests inside + 15 on patio when weather permits. - For smaller events, we can comfortably cater for up to 25 in our upstairs mezzanine area

My fiancé and I held our engagement party here on a Saturday evening. We rented out the top floor mezzanine for a party of 30. Everything was ready for us and the staff were incredible and very accommodating! The food and drinks came quickly and were fantastic! I will definitely return to Six Acres when I am in Gastown and will recommend this place to others time and time again.
