About the Space

Our studio is a unique 1,800 sq. ft. open loft featuring 13-ft ceilings, a full kitchen, bathroom, and access to an adjacent urban garden. The space is filled with natural light and original architectural details, including glass block, exposed ceilings, and hardwood floors. Originally built as a factory in 1898, the building sits beneath the L tracks—offering a quintessential Chicago backdrop. We do not book events. Productions only. OVERTIME FEE Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at the stated hourly rate. All renters and must completely vacate the space by the end time of the booking reservation. Setup and breakdown time must be included in your original booking or we will charge an additional fee after your rental concludes. DAY OF INSURANCE We require a signed waiver and COI (certificate of insurance) for the rental day. We must receive both documents a week before your rental, or we will cancel your booking. We will email you the waiver and provide options for you to procure the COI. CLEANING / DAMAGES Renters must leave the space tidy and in the same condition they found it. We apply a flat cleaning fee to all bookings. We require prior approval for hanging or attaching anything to walls or bringing in outside furniture. Damages to walls, floors, furniture, or any other interior element will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace. Photo or video shoots may require a $500 deposit, depending on the nature of your shoot. MUSIC Sonos speakers are available for Bluetooth surround sound. MISCELLANEOUS We allow smoking in the courtyard but not in the building. No weapons are allowed.
