About Tacoma
Tacoma is a city in Washington state that is just south of Seattle located on the water inlet known as the Puget Sound. Beyond being a spectacular place, this small city has created an identity all its own thanks to its thriving arts scene.

Attractions in Tacoma

- Point Defiance Park
Point Defiance Park is an open air public park that spans 750 acres. - Chihuly Glass Bridge
While a pedestrian walkway may not seem like the most interesting spectacle, this mostly glass walkway was inspired by Tacoma native and glass art master Dale Chihuly and was built and dedicated to the city. If you have time, this bridge is definitely worth checking out at least once and it might even inspire you to learn more about glass art.
- LeMay, America’s Car Museum
This impressive 160,000 square foot facility was donated along with the impressive 350 car collection by the family of Harold LeMay, wealthy industrialist originally from Tacoma. The collection at America’s Car Museum includes some of the first autos ever made as well as vintage muscle cars and much much more. If you’re a car enthusiast this is a must-see.
